Success Stories

On May 21, 2011 the 8th Annual Step Forward to Cure TSC in Elk Grove, IL took place at Busse Woods Forest Preserve. It was a beautiful day where more than 250 friends, family, co-workers and neighboors all came out to help raise more than $33,000!  We had Elmo from Sesame Street come out to help kick things off, face painting at our kids Corner, our famous raffel/acution and lunch provide by Jewel-Osco.

A very big thank you to Elmo, our national sponsors LIDS, Lundbeck, Cyberonics and MetLife and their representatives that joined us.  Along with local sponors Proctor & Gambel, Currie Motors, Pebblewood Dental, Jewel-Osco, Cookie Lee, and the dozens of places that donated products for our raffel/auction. Finally to all the incrediable volunteers that make this walk take place year after year -- thank you for continuing to provide your time to this cause!

If you missed the walk, do not fear you donations are still being accepted and if you created a fundraising page online, it will remain open for 3 more months, so keep contacting your friends, family and associates about your goals!
